To kill fleas in the house quickly, you need a combination of immediate treatment and short-term follow-up.

Start with vacuuming thoroughly.

This removes adult fleas and eggs and stimulates dormant pupae to hatch so they can be killed. Dispose of the vacuum contents immediately.

If you have pets, treat them at the same time with vet-approved flea treatments, otherwise fleas will return.

Finally, repeat vacuuming daily for at least a week. Flea eggs hatch in cycles, so persistence is key to fully eliminating the infestation.
