Here's a few different ways on how to get your reluctant pet to take their worming treatment.

You can give your pet a worming tablet in several ways:

Place it directly in the back of their mouth and gently hold the mouth closed until swallowed.

Hide it in food like cheese, meat, or peanut butter.
Crush with the back of a spoon and mix it with wet food.
Use a pill pocket treat which sneakily hide the treat for you.

For difficult pets, use a pill dispenser or syringe with a small amount of water (if recommended). Always follow up with praise or a treat and chat to our qualified Vet Team you're unsure. We know cats especially can be tricky but never force it if your pet resists aggressively.
